Holiday Lighting Installers for Metro Atlanta, Based in Cumming Since 2018

We are a holiday lighting crew that has worked out of one base in Cumming since 2018. From late October to mid-December we design, hang, and maintain Christmas lights on homes and storefronts in 50 metro Atlanta communities, then take every strand down in January. The lights are commercial-grade LED we supply and cut to the roofline, the clips grip shingle edges and gutter lips without a staple, and the people on the ladder are insured for exactly that work. More than 7,500 properties have hired us over eight seasons, most of them again the next year. For 2026 the calendar runs longer: permanent roofline lighting installed February through September, wedding and event lighting, and patio and bistro string lights for the months when nobody is thinking about December.

Design, install, in-season repairs, and January takedown, quoted per home and handled by one insured crew.

By the numbers

The Christmas Lights North Atlanta Team
"We started in 2018 because holiday lighting was stuck between two bad options: a risky weekend on a ladder, or an installer who disappeared the day after the check cleared. Our answer was a full-season service run from one base in Cumming: measure the roofline and quote it in the fall, hang commercial-grade LEDs on clips that never puncture a shingle, keep the display lit through December with a repair van on the road, and take it down in January before anyone has to ask. Eight seasons and more than 7,500 homes and storefronts later, that is still the whole business model, and in 2026 the route days reach across metro Atlanta, from Cumming and Woodstock down to Buckhead, Decatur, and Peachtree City. The quotes are free and itemized, built from measured footage rather than a price chart, and the takedown gets the same care as the install. Send us photos through the contact form or text (470) 777-7443. If your December evenings should be spent looking at the display instead of fixing it, that is the job we built this company to do."

Our Story

North Atlanta's Holiday Lighting Team

Christmas Lights North Atlanta started in 2018 on a simple split: the display should look like someone thought about it, and the homeowner should never touch a ladder. Since then the crews have designed and installed on more than 7,500 homes and businesses across metro Atlanta, from Alpharetta and Roswell down through Buckhead and Decatur and out to Marietta and the south side, and most of the fall calendar is repeat customers. Design, installation, in-season fixes, January takedown, and storage: one team, the whole season.

Where our crews actually work

Fifty metro Atlanta communities have their own page, with the housing stock, the neighborhoods, and how a quote gets built there. Everything between and around them is on the route too.

Questions people ask before they hire us

The practical ones, answered by the people who do the work.

How long have you been doing this?

Since 2018. The 2026 season is our ninth, and in that time crews have lit more than 7,500 homes and storefronts across the metro. Most of the work each fall is repeat customers, which is the part of the record we pay attention to. A display that goes up cleanly and comes down without being chased is what brings people back.

Where are your crews based, and how far do you travel?

Everything runs out of Cumming. Trucks head down GA 400 and out across the metro on route days, so the northern suburbs see us constantly and the far side of town gets grouped installs, several homes in one trip. If you are in Peachtree City or Covington, book early: those route days fill and then close.

Are the crews insured for roof work?

Yes, and it is not a formality. Ladder falls are the reason this trade exists. Crews carry coverage written for rooftop and ladder work, use stabilized ladders and harness rigging on steep pitch, and mount every strand on clips that grip the shingle edge or gutter lip. No staples, no screws, nothing left in your fascia in January.

Do you install the same way on every house?

No, and that is most of the job. A 1950s ranch in Smyrna with a low continuous eave is a different install from a Johns Creek entry with a three-story foyer peak, and both are different from a Decatur bungalow on a street too narrow to park a truck on. The design, the ladder plan, and the run of the cord all change with the house.

What happens after the season ends?

We come back in January and take it down, which is part of every package rather than a separate call. The crew pulls the strands and the clips, checks the gutter line on the way down, and leaves the roofline the way it was in October. If you want the display stored, it goes back to the warehouse coiled, labeled by location, and tested before it is shelved.
